Admission Requirements at BSMI

For Undergraduate Programs 

Students applying to Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, or other medical programs at Bukhara State Medical Institute must have a strong foundation in the following subjects:

• Biology
• Chemistry
• Physics

Educational Qualifications:

• Applicants must have completed Grade 12 or Higher Secondary School with passing certificates.
• If a student has only completed Grade 10, they will need to enroll in the Preparatory Medical Program to meet the necessary subject requirements.

Language Proficiency:

• For programs taught in Uzbek or Russian, students must complete a language preparatory course to develop the required proficiency.
• The Preparatory Department also offers courses in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for students who need additional academic support before starting their degree.

Postgraduate, Master’s, and Doctorate Admission Requirements

Students applying for Clinical Residency, Master’s, or Doctorate (Ph.D.) programs at Bukhara State Medical Institute must submit the following documents:

For Clinical Residency & Postgraduate Medical Studies

• Medical Degree (MD/BDS or equivalent)
• Internship Completion Certificate
• Clinical Residency Completion Certificate (if applicable)
• Postgraduate Medical Education Certificate

Note: There are no restrictions based on the duration of previous medical studies or the hospital where the internship was completed. Only official certificates are required for admission.

For Non-Medical Master’s and Ph.D. Programs

Students applying for Master’s in Public Health, MBA, M.Phil., Ph.D., or other non-medical postgraduate programs must provide:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree along with transcripts.
• Students are not limited to their previous field of study—they can apply for different disciplines based on career goals and consultation with university representatives.
