About the department

The Financial Department of the plan is a key structural unit of the Bukhara State Medical Institute (BDTI). Its responsibilities include developing current and future plans, calculating expenses for forecasting and supporting BDTI departments, and determining and meeting the institute’s financial needs from various sources such as the state budget, contract-payment special funds, research activities, and other income streams.

The department prepares and organizes the work related to the budget, contract-payment funds, special funds, the Development Fund, and grant expenditure estimates. It compiles lists of the institute’s yearly needs in every direction according to the estimate and determines costs together with departments, forming final amounts based on the budget and the limits of non-budget funds. The department also analyzes BDTI’s financial and economic activities and works on implementing promising projects

Tasks Performed by the Financial Department of the Plan

  • Drawing up a staffing schedule and maintaining control

  • Developing and monitoring estimate spending forecasts

  • Conducting comprehensive economic analysis of all BDTI activities

  • Maintaining statistical accounting for all economic indicators and preparing reports within set deadlines

  • Preparing a tariff list for professors, teachers, administrative-economic staff, and teaching assistants for the new academic year or when work rates and scholarships increase

  • Updating the staffing table based on regulatory framework changes

  • Accounting for all financial sources

  • Preparing expense estimates financed from the budget and non-budget funds

  • Adjusting estimated spending based on the approved limits from the Ministries of Finance and Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan

  • Analyzing expenditure of estimate funds based on reporting data

  • Establishing monthly salaries for professors, teachers, administrative-economic staff, and educational auxiliary personnel according to employment contracts

Checking monthly department and faculty reports according to the approved staffing schedule
