Shukhrat Jumayevich Teshayev

General Information

Professor Teshaev Shukhrat Jumaevich is a distinguished academic at the Bukhara State Medical Institute, where he has been working since 1993. He earned the title of Associate Professor in 2003 and became a full Professor in 2015.Throughout his career, Professor Teshaev has participated in several international congresses of morphologists, including events in Tver, Russia (1996 and 2010), Kusadasi, Turkey (2005), Kazan, Russia (2012), Urumqi, China (2014), Sochi, Russia (2014), Saint Petersburg and Petrozavodsk, Russia (2016), Astrakhan, Russia (2018), Kaunas, Lithuania (2018), and Moscow, Russia (2019).

 He also contributed to seminars within the ERASMUS+IHOD grant program, focusing on the “Technology of Teaching Chronic Diseases in Master’s Courses.” His notable achievement includes winning an Honorable Place at the XIV International Congress of Morphologists held in Astrakhan in 2018.

In 2019, Professor Teshaev attended the international conference on “Harmony of Traditional Medicine with Modern Medicine” at Fudan University in Shanghai, China. During this event, he contributed to discussions about the opening of a joint faculty for “Traditional Medicine” with Fudan University. In 2020, he was involved in discussions regarding the establishment of a joint venture, “Avicenna Medi,” in collaboration with the “Polispan” enterprise in Naberezhnye Chelny, Russia, and the Bukhara State Medical Institute. Additionally, he played a significant role in the creation of a joint bachelor’s degree program in biochemistry (for doctor-biochemists and doctor-geneticists) in partnership with Kazan State University in Russia.

In 2017 and 2018, Professor Teshaev participated in training seminars on “New Educational Innovative Technologies in Medicine” held in Moscow, Russia. He also attended the VI and VII congresses of the Russian Society for Simulation Education in Medicine. Professor Teshaev was instrumental in the creation of medical simulation centers not only at the Bukhara State Medical Institute but also across Uzbekistan.

To date, Professor Teshaev has published three textbooks, two of which are collaborative works in four languages, in partnership with the Moscow Medical and Dental University. He has also written six training manuals, including one smart training manual developed with Pavel Josef Shafarik University in Košice, Slovakia, which is registered in the European Medical Library. In addition, he has authored two electronic textbooks, three monographs, 22 methodological manuals, and 15 patents for computer programs. He has also published over 160 scientific articles, 67 of which have been published internationally.

Professor Teshaev became a member of the International Academy of Sciences for Ecology, Human, and Nature Safety in 2009. In 2016, he joined the Coordinating Council of the International Association of Morphologists. He is also a member of the editorial board of the magazine “Tinbo,” which is published in cooperation with South Korea.

Under his leadership, two of his scientific researchers have earned the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences, four have obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), and one has received a Doctor of Science (DSc). He currently supervises the scientific work of seven researchers, including five PhD candidates and two DSc candidates. Additionally, he has served as an opponent in the defense of four Candidate of Medical Sciences, five PhD dissertations, and four Doctor of Science (DSc) dissertations.
