Duties of Sector 1 – Registration Sector

The Registration Sector is responsible for planning and organizing the educational process. It ensures that all educational activities are carried out in accordance with the requirements set by ministries and universities based on the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Presidential Decrees, and decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers.

  • Prepares recommendation letters and student admission orders for clinical residency and master’s specialties.
  • Issues orders for the appointment of scientific supervisors in clinical residency and master’s programs.
  • Prepares orders for scholarship assignments and course transfers for undergraduate and master’s students, according to their academic performance.
  • Maintains a notebook to keep scholarship records for undergraduate and master’s students.
  • Issues orders for students participating in academic mobility programs.
  • Provides informational assistance and support to students.
  • Advises students on both internal and external academic mobility opportunities.
  • Writes diploma applications for clinical residency trainees.
  • Creates and maintains a unified electronic database of students and continuously monitors updates.

The sector also prepares personal student folders and submits them to the Institute Archives after the completion of studies.

With the permission of the head of the Registrar’s Office, the sector provides student-related information to higher authorities and other organizations when requested.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Issuing orders for the admission of students who have paid their contract fees.
  • Issuing orders for expelling students who fail to pay their contract fees on time.
  • Preparing orders for students withdrawn due to academic debt.
  • Issuing orders for sending students on business trips.
  • Processing documents and orders for academic leave, transfers, reinstatements, and changes of surname or patronymic for students in clinical residency, undergraduate programs, and master’s specialties.

Today, he mentors researchers, master’s students, and PhD candidates, several of whom have successfully completed their theses under his supervision. His research on genetically engineered vaccines, NETosis (neutrophil extracellular traps), and bacterial infections is widely appreciated.

Malik Amonov is highly respected in both national and international scientific communities for his dedication, innovative approach, independent thinking, and strong work ethic.

He has received government-funded grants from Malaysia, Japan (MEXT), and Uzbekistan, and has been honored with several awards in recognition of his scientific contributions.
