General Information
G.Jarilkasinova is a dedicated and hardworking teacher, scientist, and doctor, known for her selflessness and maturity. Over her career, she has published 171 scientific papers, including 2 monographs, 2 textbooks, and 1 international-scale monograph (from Slovakia). She has also authored 2 international electronic textbooks (in collaboration with Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Kazakhstan), 27 guidelines, 137 scientific articles and abstracts—96 of which have been published in reputable foreign journals—and has received patents for her work.
Under her leadership, more than 50 students have excelled in various competitions, including 1 Presidential
Scholarship, 9 State Scholars “Ibn Sino,” 1 State Scholarship “Islam Karimov,” 4 winners of the Association of Physicians of Uzbekistan, 4 Republican Olympiad winners, 3 winners of the International Students and Youth Festival, and 26 winners of international conferences.
She has served as the coordinator for the Erasmus Plus Program ModeHed, “Modernizing Health Education in Universities” (2015-2018), which involved collaboration with universities and clinics from cities like Leipzig (Germany), Moscow, Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, Karaganda, Bishkek, Tartu, Pisa, Florence, Prague, and others. Additionally, in 2017-2018, she helped sign over 100 international agreements related to healthcare education. In March 2018, she visited South Korea to attend a memorandum with 9 universities and clinics.
- Jarilkasinova played a key role in improving the quality of healthcare training by helping retrain over 1,000 doctors and improve the qualifications of doctors in more than 300 primary care units. She also organized professional development courses for over 200 specialized doctors in private healthcare institutions.
She has organized and participated in numerous international and local scientific-practical conferences, including the Republican Scientific-Practical Conference on “Actual Problems of Dentistry” and the international conference on “Modern State, Problems, and Prospects of Medical Education” in 2018. G. Jarilkasinova is also a member of several editorial boards, including “New Day in Medicine,” “Vestnik SMUS,” and the Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University journal.
Known for her focus on working with talented students, she won the “Pedagogical Grants-2010, 2011, 2012” competition for her project “Methodological Support to Talented Students” and published the quarterly magazine “Bukhara’s Talented Youth.” Between 2009 and 2018, she initiated distance learning courses for doctors at various Russian medical universities.
In addition to her work in education, she led the Bukhara group on “Electronic Education System Development” in cooperation with universities like Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, and Alberta University of Canada. She has also contributed significantly to transforming rural health units in Bukhara region into fully equipped health centers.
- Jarilkasinova is well-respected by her colleagues for her life experience, independent thinking, and strong organizational skills. She has spent 28 years in the medical field and continues to mentor young teachers and medical staff.
Her dedication has earned her numerous accolades, including the “Healthcare Worker” badge in 2009, the Honourable Certificate from the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Honorary Certificate from the Association of Women of Uzbekistan with the badge “Olima.”
Her career spans from her early years as a student at Astrakhan State Medical Institute (1990-1992) and Bukhara State Medical Institute (1992-1996) to her current role as the vice-rector for academic and educational work at the Bukhara State Medical Institute, a position she has held since June 12, 2018.
Her journey has included various significant roles: clinical intern, assistant, trainer, head of departments, deputy director, and now dean, making her a highly influential figure in Uzbekistan’s medical education system.
