General Information

Niyazov Laziz Nurhonovich graduated from Bukhara State University in 2007. From 2008 to 2010, he continued his studies in the Master’s program. Between 2011 and 2013, he worked at Bukhara State University as a Senior Scientific Employee–Researcher.

From 2013 to 2018, he served as an assistant and later as a senior lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at the Bukhara Engineering-Technological Institute. From 2018 to 2022, he held the position of Head of the Medical Chemistry Department at the Bukhara State Medical Institute. Since December 2022, he has been working as the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at the Bukhara State Medical Institute.

Duties of the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation

  • Coordinating, organizing, and overseeing the work of faculties and departments involved in international relations.
  • Organizing international conferences, symposiums, and events; guiding international scientific activities; and summarizing best practices to develop recommendations for applying results.
  • Enhancing the content of education to ensure specialist training meets international standards, and preparing proposals for establishing faculties and departments in cooperation with foreign higher education institutions.
  • Managing and supporting processes related to identifying, selecting, and working with talented young individuals abroad.
  • Participating in the planning and approval of topics and content for research components of foreign grants, coordinating with the international department, and monitoring the implementation of all research projects, grants, and scientific conferences.
